I know that I've been a little absent from the blog, but it's because Summer is here! We have been busy swimming at the pool, playing in the sprinklers and enjoying time with friends/family. I'll try my best to catch up with what we've been up to in some posts to come. :)
A couple of weeks ago Matt and I took our first vacation by ourselves since before Will was born! We have had several weekends/nights out, but this was our first time to be away from Will & Caroline for more than 48 hours. We had a wonderful time remembering what life was like when it was just the 2 of us! We slept in late, read books, watched movies--it was extremely relaxing. We were both ready to see the munchkins when the week was over, but really enjoyed spending time together.

| The next day we trekked out to Kanakuk to visit our old stompin' grounds at K-7. We saw some familiar faces and had fun remembering stories from our glory days. :) |

| Look who is an office girl! Erin! She was one of my kampers when she was only 8 years old. She was in my teepee 2 group the first year I was a counselor. Goodness, that makes me feel old. :) She was as sweet and lovely as I remember. |

| While we were off vacationing, Caroline and Will had a wonderful week with their grandparents. I think they both enjoyed the 1-on-1 attention! :) |
