The first celebration we went to was my sweet friend's wedding. Shannon and Matt got married at Southfork Ranch--it was beautiful! Shannon was one of my roommates at Baylor, and it was so much fun celebrating with all my college friends.
After celebrating Shannon and Matt, we had another wedding the following weekend at the Dallas Arboretum. This time is was my friend, Quinn, getting married! Quinn and I worked together for several years before I had Will. In fact, I was her supervisor! We became very good friends, and I am thrilled for her and Matthew (the name Matt is very popular these days! At least it's easy to remember!). It was a beautiful wedding, and it was fun to catch up with old friends that I hadn't seen in years.
And last, but definitely not least, Matt and I celebrated our own wedding anniversary. Seven years! Crazy! Since I went into labor on our anniversary last year and Caroline's birthday is the day after, we decided to celebrate a few weeks early this year. My parents came in town to babysit so Matt & I could have a weekend away. But before the weekend got started, my parents and I went to the Plano Hot Air Balloon Festival. It was so fun!
And finally, our anniversary weekend! We stayed at the Omni hotel in Las Colinas and had a fabulous time. We rested, relaxed, ate wonderful food and even went shopping a bit too!
And the wedding season continues! We are looking forward to my friend, Jennifer, getting married in November. We are blessed to have so many things to be celebrating!
