My baby girl is one year old. Crazy. Where did that year go? It seems like it was just yesterday that we were bringing her home from the NICU and she barely fit in her car seat. Now she is crawling everywhere and cruising on everything.
Caroline Rae, you are honestly the sweetest baby girl I have ever known. You are quick to smile and you bring so much joy to our home. You love to play with your big brother, but you are also a pro at entertaining yourself. You love to cuddle and you love being held. Lately, you have really become a daddy's girl. Just today when we picked you up from the church nursery, you immediately reached for him to hold you instead of me. It also seems like you have his laid back personality--you are always happy! You LOVE the swings at the park, and your favorite game is peek-a-boo. It has been a wonderful year watching you grow, and I can't wait to see the sweet toddler you are becoming. Happy birthday, precious girl!
We celebrated Caroline's birthday with a party at our house. We were planning on having the party at our neighborhood park, but as luck would have it, we had a crazy cold front move in and we had to move the festivities indoors. Even with the last minute location change, the party was still a success. We had a wonderful afternoon celebrating our sweet baby girl.
